Most pet furniture is designed as though the room it goes in does not matter. Grey carpet on a cardboard tube, and a cat tower you end up hiding in the spare bedroom.
We buy the other kind. Sisal and solid posts, woven baskets, oak and linen — pieces built for an animal to actually use, in a home you actually want to look at. If we would not have it in our own living room, we do not list it.
The other half of it is the price. Enough shops advertise one number and collect another, adding delivery and tax and a handling fee once your card is out. We decided the simplest way to be different was to not do that.
